However, its disadvantages are higher cost, larger footprint, and higher energy requirements for dust removal, increasing equipment operating costs.
Horizontal Pulse Jet Dust Collector
A horizontal pulse jet dust collector is another common type of dust collection equipment, mainly composed of a high-pressure gas box, nozzles, and a dust removal mechanism. Its working principle is that the high-pressure gas box compresses the gas, which is then ejected through the nozzles in a pulse jet pattern, removing dust from the filter bags.
The advantages of this type of dust collector are fast cleaning effect, low cleaning energy consumption, and suitability for handling high-concentration, low-volume gases. However, its disadvantages include a tendency to generate secondary pollution, higher maintenance requirements for nozzles and the air chamber, and potential damage to the filter bags.
Differences Between the Two
The main difference between a pulse jet dust collector and a pulse jet dust collector lies in their structure and operating principle. A pulse jet dust collector filters and cleans dust through filter bags, while a pulse jet dust collector removes dust from the filter bags through pulsed gas injection. Due to their different working principles, they are suitable for different applications: pulse jet dust collectors are suitable for handling large volumes of gas, while pulse jet dust collectors are suitable for handling high-concentration, low-volume gases.
