What aspects should be considered when maintaining a dust collector?

1. Regularly check the operation of control valves, pulse valves, and timers. Malfunction of the pulse valve diaphragm is a common problem in baghouse dust collectors, directly affecting cleaning efficiency.

2. Verify that the air volume and pressure and temperature at each test point match the design specifications.

3. Check the filter bag installation. After use, check for any bags falling off, loosening, or wear. This can be assessed visually by observing the chimney emissions after commissioning.

4. Prevent condensation: During operation, prevent the gas from cooling below the dew point within the baghouse, especially when using a baghouse dust collector under negative pressure.
