Working Principle Of Coal Drying Equipment

The core function of coal drying equipment is to evaporate the moisture in coal using heat energy, thereby reducing the coal's moisture content and improving its physical properties. Its basic workflow includes the following steps:

1. Preheating: Coal enters the dryer through the feeding device and undergoes preheating to raise its temperature, preparing it for the subsequent drying process.

2. Drying: Inside the equipment, hot air or hot airflow typically comes into contact with the coal, evaporating the moisture. In this process, the choice of heat source and the flow rate of the hot air play a decisive role in drying efficiency.

3. Dehumidification: After the moisture has evaporated, it is discharged from the equipment through the exhaust system, ensuring the drying process continues.

4. Discharge: The dried coal is discharged through the discharge port, and after reaching the predetermined drying index, it enters the subsequent storage or utilization stage.

Different types of coal drying equipment may have slightly different working principles, but the basic process is generally similar. The key lies in the source and transfer method of heat energy, as well as the structural design of the equipment.
