A complete drying system consists of more than just one main unit; it also includes several key auxiliary systems:
Heat Source System: The "heart" of the drying equipment. Common types include:
* Coal-fired hot air furnace: Low cost, wide application, but poor environmental performance and low temperature control accuracy.
* Gas/oil burner: Precise temperature control, clean and environmentally friendly, but high operating costs.
* Steam or thermal oil system: Used for indirect drying, clean and stable, but requires a boiler.
* Utilization of process waste gas: Such as using coke oven gas, power plant tail gas, etc., to achieve waste heat utilization, energy saving and environmental protection.
* Feeding and Discharging System: Continuous, uniform, and stable feeding and discharging are essential for stable operation. Commonly used systems include belt conveyors, screw feeders, and rotary valves.
* Dust Removal System: The drying process generates a large amount of dust, requiring high-efficiency dust removal equipment, such as bag filters or electrostatic precipitators, to meet stringent environmental emission standards.
Control System: The brain of modern drying equipment. Using a PLC or DCS system, key parameters such as drying temperature, material quantity, air volume, air pressure, and moisture content are automatically monitored and adjusted to ensure stable product quality and achieve energy saving and safe operation.
